Brando just releases an Action Mount for your camera (or other hardware I presume) that seems to be about as secure as you would expect for $11. While I will be the first to admit I have put my valuables in compromising rigs (normally involving string , tape and high speeds) I don’t think I have ever paid to do so. But hey maybe this is for you, maybe you really like velcro, adrenaline, and broken pieces of electronics. All i know is… it scares me a little

Rhea Jeong’s Void LP may see like magic to some (most) but in reality it’s a super-cool gadget that plays that old archaic form of tech called a LP (by the way there are still people using those) I have to agree with Paul Miller (via engadget) that the sound quality probably stinks. But really if you bought this for the hi-fi sounds, your an idiot… because this is more art than stereo. It might be black magic, vodoo art… but it’s art non-the-less.

Luxo Jr. : Life imitating art?

Seriously one of the cooler things I have ever seen, the Luxo Jr. from Pixar Studios in one of the best animatronic attraction imaginable at Disney Hollywood Studio’s. If he’s not one of the cutest things you’ve ever seen, one of two thing have happened. One, I don’t know how to tell you this… but you’ve gone blind… I’m sorry, or two you may have become desensitized to cute and adorable from youtube posts like this. Terminator Salvation … Fail

So I becuse I’m a Youth Minister I tend to have teens talk to me about movies all the time. And being teens, they tend to spoil movies I have yet to see (it happens, it’s not their fault, they are just excited, like puppies). So the solution is to see movies on opening night or before the next Youth Ministry event. So my brother (and fellow geek) and I went to go see this movie the opening week. Let me start with saying how excited I was to see this film. I love the first 2 Terminators, I’m a big fan. I even liked the 3rd film, so I was all prepared to like this movie no matter how bad it was. But siting there watching it something happened. I starting hopeing the Terminator would actually kill John Connor. It’s not that Christian Bale isn’t cut out to be the leader if the rebellion, it’s just the plot and dynamics around him guaranty that he never has a chance to proof himself. By the first 20 minutes I was bored and by the middle of the movie I was seriously considering walking out of a movie for the first time.At this time I peered over to my brother during an intense CGI action scene and had found that he actually fell asleep! The plot was painfully predictable and paled in comparison to the Sci-Fi genius that was it predecessors. Staying put (unfortunalty) until the end, I offically deemed that the salvation of the terminator series, felt more like … well the opposite of salvation

Iphone Keyboard?

So the Asus Eee keyboard is pretty sweet and stylish, but it’s got me thinking. With the new dongle ware apps for iPhone 3.0 software how awesome would it be to have a dock/ keyboard that allowed you to use your iPhone as a OsX dock when docked and chargeing? The iPhone Dock could be on a spring hindge so that once docked the iPhone would lay flush with the keyboard simmilar to the screen on the Asus Eee keyboard… Just thougt that might be awesome. What do you think?

Am I Giving up my 3G for a 3Gs?

While I have been craving the gift that is video on my iPhone, and they fixed the cruddy camera on it,and they gave it voice features and a compass I am feeling unfulfilled by the new 3Gs. I had gotten the 3G back for Valintines Day, so here I stand very far away from an upgrade with a new release. So of course it crosses my mind, just like it would anyone else’s mind… how can I get enough pepsi points to get jet? ( do you remember that… that was great… or was it coke?) Of course I mean the question… is it worth the high cost of a new phone? Here’s how I see this, with no cosmetic changes, and the fact that any price drop for memory wouldn’t matter if I had to buy it full price, not to mention the fact that it seems next June is almost guaranteed to include another new Iphone (I figure a rumor on the first post is a great way to start) So until I see a major need, and/or I get a renewal from AT&T I am very happy with my 3G.
